Located in the Plaquemine Historic District, the meticulously restored late 1890’s Queen Anne is on the National Register of Historic Places. The first floor has a large formal dining room and separate parlor with tables and chairs, perfect for showers, meetings or other small gatherings. The grand staircase and stunning crystal chandelier in the Main Parlor will take your breath away and is the perfect setting for a Bride’s “First Look” with her dad or groom. The second floor of the magnificent home includes a 700 sq. ft. Primary Bedroom Suite with a half-tester bed, private bathroom with clawfoot tub, and attached dressing/sitting room…an ideal place for a bride to get dressed on her wedding day or spend her wedding night. We offer three additional guest rooms and another full bath on the second floor, so bring the bridesmaids or out-of-town guests after the rehearsal dinner and spend the night together. You’ll enjoy getting ready for your big day in the spacious ballroom on the 3rd floor, documented to be the first ballroom in the City of Plaquemine. We provide director chairs, mats and tables for your hair and makeup artists. There’s also a full bathroom, sideboard and wet bar. Wi-Fi is available for your convenience.
